If you’re wondering, here’s a bit about me. I was born in Heidelberg, Germany , back when Germany still had the Deutsche Mark and grew up in the rainy suburbs of London. Depressing, you say?
Only if you hate the rain. Which I don’t. In fact, I love it. Dark, gloomy days are my favorite and I love nothing more than to curl up in a blanket with a book/laptop and a cup of coffee while listening to the rain.
So naturally, given my natural aversion to direct sunlight, heat, sand and other beach-related activities, I now live in…the Sunshine State.
Because such is life.
Luckily, I have a husband who hates the sun as much as I do, and four cats who love a good cuddle even on the hottest days.
